Please read all of the rules completely prior to moving forward - Not knowing the rules will not be accepted as an excuse for not following them. Failure to comply with any rule may result in the termination of visiting privileges.

NOTE: Attorneys and Public Defenders must contact the South Placer Jail Facility prior to scheduling the visit to ensure they are added to the 'no charge' list with VizVox after approval. 

  • Each inmate is allowed two (2) on-site video visits available at the South Placer Jail kiosks for inmates housed at the South Placer and Auburn Main Jail. These visits may not be taken on the same day. The visiting week begins on Saturday. Inmates are allowed an unlimited number of remote visits per day and week, if the visit time coincides with their dayroom time. There will be a charge of $9.99 for each 30-minute remote video visitation session.
  • Video Visiting is held 7 days a week. Schedules will vary by classification and housing of inmates.
  • All visits are subject to monitoring and recording.
  • All onsite visits must be scheduled 24 hours or up to 2 weeks in advance.
  • If there are available time slots, remote visits can be scheduled 4 hours or up to 2 weeks in advance.
  • Each inmate shall be allowed two 30-minute on-site video visits per week. The two 30-minute video visits may NOT be taken on the same day.
  • To schedule a remote visit, you will need to have at least $9.99 in your ICSolutions prepaid account. If you need to add funds, please go to  or call 888-506-8407.
  • The remote video visit charge of $9.99 will be applied to your prepaid account as soon as your visit is scheduled.
  • Visitors should test their connection prior to scheduling a visit. Please select How to Visit From Home tab at  for instructions.
  • If an inmate is in ANY program (at court, on work assignments, ail programs, attorney visits, etc.), they are NOT eligible to receive the visit at that time. It is your responsibility to schedule your visits around the inmate's program schedule.
  • Remote visitors should login and connect 2-3 minutes prior to the scheduled visitation time to check in. Onsite visitors must check in at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
  • Visitors will not be able to connect and visit after the scheduled start time.
  • If you are unable to attend your scheduled visitation, please log into your account and cancel your appointment at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled visitation time.
  • If your visit is cancelled by the facility, the $9.99 will be credited back to your prepaid account.
  • If you do not check in for a scheduled visit, no refund will be issued.
  • If you lose internet connection during your visitation, you will not be allowed to reconnect and a refund will not be issued.
  • All visitors must have a valid government issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, State ID card, or Military Issued ID, Passport or Consular ID to register and have available at the time of check in.
  • All children (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Visitors may also be asked to provide proof of relationship to the inmate.
  • Visitors and inmates must remain seated at all times during the visitation session.
    • Appropriate dress is required at all times.
    • Skin tight / Form fitting clothes are not allowed.
    • Any clothing or other items displaying gang-related symbols, themes or colors are prohibited.
    • Any clothing containing vulgar or objectionable language or images are prohibited.
    • All visitors must wear undergarments at all times.
    • No hats are allowed.
    • No see through clothing or sleeveless tops are allowed.
  • Any inappropriate activity will result in the termination of your session and no refund will be issued.
    • Such activity includes nudity, removal of clothing, activities of a sexual nature or sexually suggestive activities, or any other behavior deemed offensive by jail staff.
  • Visitors violating these rules or involved in the following may be placed on permanent visiting restrictions:
    • Visitors that create a disturbance or disruption of the visiting process.
    • Visitors under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    • Visitors that refuse to show sufficient identification.
  • The visitation schedule may be cancelled or altered for safety / security reasons:
    • If an email address is provided at registration, we will send an email notification in the event your visit is cancelled.
    • You can also confirm your visit by logging into your account to view your visitations.
  • Jail staff can deny, change, or cancel a visit at any time at their discretion. 
  • Each visitation session will show the visitor and inmate a timer to display elapsed time.
  • After your visit has ended, your connection will be terminated.
